JANUARY 30, 2022 // MADISON

The walk started as just a walk, I took the trail and wasn’t finding much to photograph, which I found quite frustrating, but it’s also part of the game.

Anyway, halfway through I decided to turn around and head to my lucky location, on State St, between the upscale Capitol area and the University art and humanities departments, and I found a few really sweet people to photograph. Lesson here is that the things that work work for a reason, so when things don’t go as planned, go back to those, they’re the fundamentals.

The color images were shot with my Nikon F2, on Kodak Ultramax 400, rated at 320 and pushed one stop in my not so fresh anymore chemicals.

I also took my Diana F+ with me, because I wanted to do some square medium format shots and carrying a big heavy brick alongside the already heavy F2 wasn’t really an option. The Diana was loaded with Bergger Pancro400.
