OCTOBER 1-7, 2022 // MADISON

Holga week street images.

The following images were made on a Holga 120 GCFN (the one with a glass lens), and a Holga 135BC (the one that’s made for 35mm film), during Holga week. It’s no secret I love those plastic cameras, but I also don’t really use them enough, so Holga week is the yearly reminder I need to get them out of their box and actually make magic with them.

Also, I think these are a good way to prove to yourself that it’s not the camera, but it’s the photographer that makes the images, and that talent is not about gear, is it?

I hope you enjoy them!

So what do you think: is it the gear, or is it the eye that make a photographer?
